Your role as a parent matters! The Marri Research Institute recently conducted a study of 1300 eight to thirteen year old girls and in that study found that those who were engaged in "cybersex" 95% of their parents had no idea. In fact in the same study they found that kids whose Internet usage was not monitored by their parents they were 3x more likely to seek out pornography websites. These same adolescence were more likely to give their attachment to their parents a poor rating.
So parents now is the time! Step up, get involved, have family dinners, take your kids out for ice cream. Let your kids know you care and are there for them! When you have a great relationship with your kids they are more likely to open up with you and communicate about important topics like struggles with pornography.
